Spa Etiquette The members of our staff have dedicated their lives to promote the well being of others. Because we want each guest to go home satisfied, we ask that these few, but important rules of Spa Etiquette be observed:
Ensured relaxing atmosphere
To ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests we ask that you:
- Turn cell phones/pagers to silent or vibrate mode.
- Use a "spa voice" in all areas of the spa. Our lounge is a place where many guests savor a much-needed private moment to read, meditate or simply to relax.
Returns / Exchanges
Skin Care: You may receive a full refund within 10 days of purchase.
Makeup / Body Care / Miscellaneous: Are all final sale.
Gift Certificates: Are non-refundable but are fully transferable.
Methods of payment
We accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Essence Organic Spa Gift Certificates / Cards. Service prices are subject to change without notice. Treatment times are approximate. Gratuities are not included in the service price.
Valuables
We request that you leave all jewelry at home. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
We love kids, but...
The spa is a place where Moms & Dads come to rest and recharge their batteries. So please, make arrangements in advance and come enjoy the Spa without your little ones.
Children under the age of 13 will not be permitted in the spa, unless they are having services.
Spa Arrivals/Arriving Late
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, so that we may begin your treatment on time.
Your time is important to us and we are committed to offering all guests wonderful service. As a courtesy to our other guests, If you arrive late for your appointment, we may have to customize your treatment to fit in the allotted time or reschedule your appointment.
Privacy
During treatments, your body will be draped with sheets or towels to ensure your privacy. However, because your relaxation and enjoyment is our number one priority, please feel free to leave on as much clothing as makes you feel comfortable.
Our PoliciesAt the time of your reservation we do require a credit card number, otherwise your appointment cannot be taken. When you reserve your time with us and you need to cancel, as a courtesy to our therapists and our other guests, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment.
If for any reason you need to change or cancel your reservation with us, you must do this by phone. Leaving a message or sending an email will not be accepted.
- For any one or more services a fee of 50% will be applied
- For spa packages 50% of the package will be applied
- For all no shows 100% of the service/package will be applied
We do understand that things "come up". If we can fill the appointment time, you won’t be billed at all.
